Award-winning hairdresser Ken Picton is holding a Marie Curie tea party on Thursday July 26 and Friday July 27 at the Cardiff Bay salon.

Says Ken, “the mother of one of my team members came up with the idea because we serve the most beautiful complimentary refreshments in china cups with fabric napkins – she thought it would be great to do a cupcake event and is renowned in the area for making the most amazing cakes ever! We’ll be serving cupcakes and scones to raise money for Marie Curie over the two days and clients can make a donation to enjoy them during their service alongside their complimentary teas and lattes.



Some of the clients have already asked if they can contribute some baked offerings so it should be quite a spread on offer.”
