Jack Kosta, Junior at Celebrity Hairdresser of the Year and current British Hairdresser of the Year nominee Jamie Stevens’ Salon, has been shortlisted for the British Hairdressing Business Awards’ Junior of the Year.

18-year-old Jack works at Jamie Stevens Hair in Kensington, London. During the past 12 months he’s shadowed Jamie both within the salon and at various international locations as his personal assistant. Jack’s ultimate dream is to win Men’s Hairdresser of the Year, a title currently held by Jamie, who is resident hairdresser on The X Factor and This Morning.

Jack’s assisted on Gok’s Fashion Fix, shoots with Natasha Bedingfield, Woman magazine and The X Factor and even made an appearance in Jamie’s Men’s shoot after one of the models didn’t turn up – dedication indeed!

The British Hairdressing Business Awards are run in conjunction with industry bible Hairdressers’ Journal and the winner will be announced on 17 September at Lancaster London, Lancaster Terrace in London.

Says Jack, “I’m overwhelmed to get through, the help from Jamie, Tasha and the team has been amazing and I want to go on and win it for the Jamie Stevens brand and make them proud.”
