As the official Miss England sponsor for the fifth year running, Great Lengths were present at the final of Miss England, held at The Athena, Leicester to style the contestants’ hair and judge the winner of the Stunning Style Queen Award.  Chosen by a judging panel, the Stunning Style Queen competitors had their hair styled by the Great Lengths hair team from across the UK, who also prepared the 60 dazzling finalists for the evening’s event.
 
Great Lengths announced the winner of the Stunning Style Queen Award to Anastasia Smith (Miss North Yorkshire),   which was presented by Philip Sharp, Great Lengths Managing Director.  Charlotte Holmes (Miss Devon) was crowned as Miss England 2012. Both girls received a prize of up to £1000 of Great Lengths hair extensions.

Great Lengths Extensionist of the Year 2010 Inanch Emir, styled the hair for both Anastasia Smith as well as Miss England winner Charlotte Holmes, both of whom were wearing Great Lengths hair extensions during the finals.
 
"Anastasia is naturally a stunning model with very unique and beautiful facial features so most hair styles would suit her.  We wanted to create a 'wow' factor with her hair but something that also matched her outfit for the evening.  I used over 200 strands of Great Lengths hair in 55cm lengths with 3 shades of brown including a warm chestnut colour mixed together for that natural look. We finished off the style by using barrel curls and tonging the hair to add a casual but glamorous effect as well as adding more volume to her hair.”
