so this girl cut 6 inch long layers (one length) into my hair that reaches mid-back...it's a look that doesn't make sense! So tomorrow I'm cutting off 4 years of healthy, shiny, wavy hair so I won't walk around looking like a mess.

I once asked for a side cut fringe and came out with a blunt chunky fringe that was all different lengths. After going home upset i went back and complained and got told i had to wait a week for them to sort it out. I then had to wear a hairband for over 2 months until it had grown back lol.

Oh no you poor things! I've just come back from a really awful cut, it's totally lopsided and the fringe is way too long. My friends say to go back, but I hate complaining. What should I say?

I always feel bad about complaining about things, but i think you should go back adn say something - the salon doesn't want you walking round telling people they gave you a rubbish cut. I'd just brave it - good luck!!

hey, as i am studying hairdressing in sixth form we practice on each other and i had really long dark brown with a tint of red hair at the start of the year. A few months ago i let another student do bleached streaks using a cap on my hair, after a few minuites it startes to burn and i was saying its burnin but no one was listening to me eventually they turned the climozone of and let my hair cool down then took me to get it washed of straight away. When they had washed it off my teacher pulled a bit of bleached hair and it just ripped of really easily i was sooo upset. They had to trim my hair because it left me with really bad dry, slit ends then the next day i was working in a salon and they cut my hair again but said they would only do a trim when they had finished half my long hair was on the floor and i was upset again. When i got back to my Training salon my teacher had said i didnt need it cutting off. Now my hair has gone back to the Dark brown with tint of red and i am having it trimed every so often, i also leave my conditioner on for a few hours every weekend and i am trying to grow my hair back. Worst thing that had ever happen, But now i know never to use bleach again!
