Frizz!!

Postby brunettesrule » Thu Oct 29, 2009 5:45 pm

No matter how much I straighten my hair, it always seems to go frizzy the moment I leave the house! I use a straightening balm at the moment but does anyone have any good product tips?

HAHAHA was just saying on the other thread that mine's the same! Haven't tried a straightening balm yet – serum helps a bit but it still stays frizzy - what straightening balm have you been using? x

The TRESemme one works really well on my hair and it's really cheap! Which serum do you use? x

I've got an amazing one! It's the John Frieda one and works really really well at keeping my hair sleek and it doesn't make my hair greasy like some i've tried.

Can't remember actually - will have to check! Will try the john frieda one though Blondeambition - sounds good! I hate it when serums make your hair greasy but it gets so expensive if you just buy lots of hair stuff and it's not right for your hair. :D

I went and bought the John Frieda one last night, it's really good, my hair is a lot less frizzy today. Try it girls!

I've suffered with frizz all my life and I've tried absolutely everything to sort it. I buy really good deep conditioners and I sleep in them then wash them out in the morning. I've even worn a shower cap in bed, which doesn't do wonders for the love-life, but my hair is shiny afterwards. Also try as many serums as you can. It took me an age to find my favourite. Charles Worthington is a great buy, but if you have the cash try the Kerastase range. Great for Christmas gifts!

I think a lot of it is how you dry your hair. Keep an eye on how your hairdresser does it. always going down the hair shaft. If you move the hairdryer up & down you make it worse. I use LabelM relaxing balm on my hair before I dry it & then their serum to finish it off. I think you can only get it from Toni& guy salons or their essensuals salons, but it really works. plus, it does not make my hair greasy which some frizz serums seem to x
