HOB Salons create hair for charity fundraiser

Last week designer Henry Holland raised awareness and funds as he put on a special fashion event in aid of Gynaecological cancers. All the big names in fashion were there to lend a helping hand and of course there was a catwalk...

HOB hairdressers were specially requested to take care of all things hair at the big event as they styled eight New Faces from Models1. HOB member Mirka explains; "Tonight we wanted to create a look that was wearable but still had catwalk feel so we opted for the low-slung pony with strong partings and soft texture."

To achieve the look simply follow these 3 steps:

STEP 1: Begin by placing the hair in its natural parting, and spray Wella Professionals Perfeet Setting (£9.95 @ HOB Salons) on the root. Using a Denman brush, and blow dry the product into the hair for added control and perfect definition.
STEP 2: After blow drying the hair, spray more Wella Perfeect Setting to the root area giving the hair a rustic and textured matte finish. Next, loosely pull the hair back into a low ponytail at the nape of the neck and secure with an elastic band.
STEP 3: To enhance that unkempt look, using the tail end of a comb, tease the top of the ponytal pulling the elastic band away from the head to give added looseness and a more dishevelled finish.
