Jennifer Morrison went jumbo on her top knot and you can copy her look by investing in a hair donut. It’ll help give you the bun you want without the bother. It’s an easy everyday style that suits most face shapes; leave some hair to frame the face for a more relaxed look.

 

1.     Day old hair works well with this style, although by spraying some dry shampoo through you can get the texture and grip you need.

2.     Using a boar bristle brush sweep hair into a high ponytail using a small band – if you struggle getting the height, tip your head upside down. Tame any flyaways with hairspray.

3.     Pop your ponytail through the hair donut. Pin the donut into place, and begin taking sections of hair loosely curling them with a tong and randomly pinning. If you haven’t got the lengths, try using a clip-in ponytail for volume.

4.     Once all the hair is pinned, take a comb or brush and gently backcomb sections of the bun to give it a texturised messy look.
