1. To achieve these tight curls, apply plenty of mousse to wet hair and scrunch it up from tip to root before blow-drying. Once dry, use a heated tong to curl the bottom ends of the hair or alternatively, use a straightener to twist strands of hair if you don’t have curling tongs.
2. Once you have achieved this, scoop your hair to one side and clip any loose strands from the back into place. Keep a couple of strands from the other side of the hair loose to frame the face so it doesn’t look too tidy and preened as it’s quite an effortless look.
3. Backcomb the top of the hair slightly to give it a rougher edge and apply plenty of hairspray, paying particular attention to the curls so that they stay in all night long. This is also the perfect style for adding a pretty clip for that bang on trend look.
