Can I add body to my hair with rollers?

I keep seeing people adding rollers to their hair to add volume. How do I do this?

There are two ways you can do this using both Velcro rollers or heated rollers. The idea is generally the same. When your hair is dry but still hot from a good blowdry, wind your top sections onto large, Velcro rollers and wait for the hair to dry naturally. Waiting for about 20 minutes should do it. Unwind the rollers  and your hair should have a lot more body. You can do the same with heated rollers but you will also get more of a curl when you do. So make sure you have enough length for the curls to drop a little, leaving you with great volume.

Velcro rollers are the best!

Velcro rollers are the best! I use them after I've blowdried, while I'm doing my make up, before a night out. I cover them in hairspray after rolling them in at the root and when i take them out my hair is much fuller. TaraTa-Ta

When my hair is feeling flat

When my hair is feeling flat at the top I spray a dry shampoo into the roots and massage it in with my fingers for a few minutes. It's great for when you're out and about or just haven't had time to restyle your hair. Izzybotxx
