Tara Smith's hot gossip!

It’s been full steam ahead in 2010 and it’s been such a privilege to have worked with so many amazing people in the music, film and television industry on both sides of the Atlantic! From movies, music videos, fashion shoots and award ceremonies to press junkets and my very own product launch, here’s a little snippet of my whirlwind year so far…
 
In LA I supported global music producer and songwriting legend Diane Warren with the styling for her forthcoming CD, “DUE VOCI” in which she features 2 of US’s rising opera stars.
 
Then, straight off to New York and heading up the shoot for the Fall campaign for Stacy M. Igel’s fashion label Boy Meets Girl, set in the stunning Mount Airy Casino.

Back to LA for the Oscars, where I was on hand to style Neve Campbell’s hair for the INSTYLE Oscars afterparty. Meanwhile, Quentin Tarantino hosted the Inglorious Basterds Oscars after show party and I attended with my good friend actress and stunt woman Zoe Bell, whom I worked with and met whilst I was running the hair department of Tarantino’s film Deathproof.
 
Back to New York again and styled Greenberg actress Greta Gerwig for the celebrity launch she was attending for Cindy Crawford and The Olsen twins.
 
Back on a plane to London with just two days before the London Marathon. I am so delighted I managed to finish it and raise over £20,000 for Loros. That really makes it worth every bit of pain!
 
Created the look for Jamie Cullum for all his press material, including 2 of his music videos. I love working with his thick head of hair!!
 
At the 62nd Cannes Film Festival and getting the stars ready for the red carpet. I had the pleasure of working with Hollywood superstar Diane Lane.

New York, New York!! I’m so thrilled as my all natural and organic award winning hair care range is now conquering the US too! They’re now on the shelves at all of the 262 Duane Reade stores in NYC. It’s been interviews with the press non-stop and for a change it’s me under the spotlight!
 
The launch took place on the 14th April at Urban Zen in the Stephan Weiss Studio. It was hosted by the wonderful Donna Karan who has shown great support for my products and all that they stand for. I am donating a percentage of my sales to the Urban Zen Foundation. I was so grateful to see so many of my celebrity friends and fans turn up and show their support for me. A big Thank You to all of them.
