Makeover magic!

I had the most amazing day recently - one of those times when you feel you have the best job in the world.

And you feel incredibly lucky to meet people who inspire you with their stories of triumph over massive challenges.

My day was made amazing by meeting four lovely ladies who have lost their hair through cancer treatment - Sophie Roberts, Michelle Davies, Sarah Smith and Leigh Goldsmith – when I hosted a makeover day at my Covent Garden salon.

The day was arranged free of charge by the UK’s leading hair extensions supplier and celebrity favourite, Racoon International, as part of Racoon’s Hair in Recovery programme - set up to provide an alternative to wigs for women suffering from medical hair loss (www.hairinrecovery.com).  

Using the unique Hair in Recovery gentle micro bond extensions system, Racoon’s Art Team created stunning looks for each person.

We all had a hug and there were tears of joy to see them all transformed – no more wigs – just gorgeous glossy hair extensions and brimming with confidence and happiness.

Racoon International will subsidise up to 70% of the cost of hair and their unique bonding system to the patient.
