Jamie Stevens gives the inside gossip on his new competition!

We are into week three of the competition now and it is getting so much harder to send anyone home!

This week we had four hopefuls left and the challenge was to produce a beautiful updo... on a celebrity client! They each picked a celebrity out of the hat and we gave them a brief to stick to. Romy picked Linda Nolan and was given a textured updo, Jack picked Janice Dickinson and had to create a classic Beehive, Bradley picked Melinda Messenger and was given a glam pony and Kieran picked Sarah Cawood and had to create a sleek pleat.

They only had 45 minutes to create the style, which is the same amount of time you would have in the salon, but with a lot of added pressure! They all did absolutely brilliantly and were marked out of five by the celebrities for their efforts; Bradley and Kieran received 3/5 with Jack and Romy both scoring 4/5. Jack and Bradley definitely had the hardest jobs as they were working with extensions but they pulled it off really well.

It’s always a tough decision when it comes to sending someone home but in the end we decided that it was Kieran’s turn to leave. I can’t wait to see how the remaining three handle next week’s challenge!
